But That's Just Me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-z4aguu4Ex0

This advert makes me smile every time I see it.

'I like old movies, like Godfather 3, it's not considered the best one. But that's just me.
I'm somewhat impulsive, I laugh in my sleep, I don't wear make up on weekends *I don't wake up on week ends.* But that's just me.'

And i just love the girl's jumper.

PS. I know you love it too Tumeka.

Smallville Season 6 Episode 5

I was just watching some classic season 6 Smallville to cheer me up, when I stumbled across this little gem.
Chloe and Oliver's first meeting. I love Chloe's reaction- must have been a sign of things to come...

Anyway, I just had to find a clip to share:

Light In The Sky "Alice and Huck"

A beautiful trailer/ collaboration of the short film "Alice and Huck"

I want to buy this so much, now it's been released to DVD, but it's only available in the US.

Aghhhhh!!!

AM Interview.

Just stumbled across this gem and thought i'd add it to the collection.

I'm very excited to see what the rest of season 9 has to offer....

Shade- Michael Averill & Allison Mack

Michael Averill & Allison Mack at The Wired Monk Cafe.
"Shade"

I found this a while ago and it's just one of those things I'll never get tired of.
A beautiful song, with two great voices. What more could you want.
Just found Michael Averill's MySpace aswell;
I really do love his voice and his music.

Mark Hildreth

Thanks to Mack Attack, have just discovered this man...
He is amazing.

Part two:
Also a MySpace link for Mark Hildreth's playlist, including several tracks from the album "Complex State Of Attachment":

Shaun White W.Olympics 2010

By far the most impressive and exciting halfpipe run ever!
This man is a genius.

The Wonders Of The Chair & The Distractions Of Nazism

So today in English, we got to talking about chairs. They're pretty useful things you know. Something that's always there for you when you need a good rest, something that caters to your specific relaxation needs, something to lose the remote in...
All valid points i know.
But the thing is, the chair is just a fundamental piece of design. The only way it can become obsolete is if we somehow develop the ability to fly, therefore meaning it is no longer necessary to be seated.
However, it has always been a social tradition to sit together, in a group or pair, just to communicate and spend time with one another. Thinking back to the neanderthal man, who would sit around a fire with his buddies and discuss the latest kill, progressing to modern day cafes, restaurants and even meetings, where we sit around tables, facing one another as a sign of commitment and conforming.

This somehow led onto chatting about what a dick Hitler was... but maybe he was misjudged. Maybe he wasn't all bad... you never know, he may have been a sweetie at heart. Filled with joy, love and roses.
Then again, he did commit genocide...

Hopefully tomorrow will be filled with similar deep and meaningful topics for us to discuss....
